Anna e Martina sono due sorelle di nove e sette anni: l'una brontola sempre, l'altra ama fare la saputella. A volte litigano, a volte si alleano; curiose e intraprendenti, accolgono con entusiasmo le esperienze della vita quotidiana riuscendo a trasformarle in piccole avventure e a trarne insegnamenti. A casa e a scuola osservano il mondo attorno a loro e si pongono tante domande; quando non trovano le risposte da sole, ricorrono alla mamma, la signora Cittadini a cui danno un bel daffare. Il cagnolino Tino e la micetta Ninetta vivono insieme a loro nella casetta di campagna. Anna and Martina are two sisters aged nine and seven: the one is always fussy, the other loves behaving like a kwow-it-all. They sometimes quarrel, sometimes are allies; curious and enterprising, they enjoy everyday life experiences and manage to turn them into small adventures from which to learn. They observe the world around them and wonder about everything both at home and at school; when they cannot find the answers themselves, they rely on their mother, Mrs. Cittadini, who has got a lot to do with them. The little dog Tino and the kitten Ninetta live with them in their country house.
