A colicky baby.
A know-it-all in-law.
What is that awful smell?
The start of such an amazing family adventure is enough to send one exhausted Mom running…
...but only briefly, and only to the nearby lake shore, with its promise of solitude and serenity.
Alas, even this temporary escape is ruined as her peaceful meditation turns into a thorough cataloguing of her parental shortcomings. She may never become the Supermom she pretends to be, but can she pull it together long enough to survive this vacation?
Fans of Erma Bombeck and parents everywhere will appreciate this humorous, relatable glimpse into the struggles inherent to modern motherhood.
