Grammar is grammar. Rhetoric has its own sphere; so, also, has logic. All attempts to consider the three together will end in confusion. No two sciences can be successfully taught from one text -book. In the present work the principles of rhetoric and logic will not be discussed, cept in so far as those principles lie distinctly within the sphere of Grammar.
