An Amish widow. An Englischer old flame. Can he successfully embrace the Amish Way? Can she be true to her faith and still recapture a past love? The story continues: It's been fifteen years since Matilda King's Rumspringa when she returned to her community to fully embrace the Amish life and married Samuel King. Now she's a widow with all the troubles that brings for a widowed Amish woman with four children and a farm. She's certainly not prepared for an old Englischer flame named Ryan Myers to step back into her life, let alone join her community. Ryan Myers is intent on learning the Amish Way and living and participating fully in the community's life--and in Matilda's. He's never forgotten Mattie, as he calls her, and the simple way of life she espoused so many years ago when they were teenagers. He's older, wiser, and committed to this time of testing. More disruption follows as Matilda realizes she must make a major life-changing decision and wonders what impact will that have not only on her life but on those around her? She has, after all, been keeping a deep secret all this time. AN AMISH TEST (The Testing of Ryan and Mattie) is the third part in the series In Search of Amish Love.
