An Amalgamation of Short Narratives to Read Before Bed Instead of Doom Scrolling is a diverse four story collection focused on subjects such as mortality and psychosis, interwoven in tales of sci-fi adventures, dramatic tales and schemes, and warped fables.
This collection opens with "Eilmer," a dramatic tale following a person's final moments, reflecting on their existence. Call it a deathbed life chronicle.
Ebi's second story takes readers through time and space with dedicated child soldiers, Zuri and Anan, who were born without solace. They only have one mission, fighting for the freedom of their home planet, in this sci-fi adventure, "War - No Peace."
In the third story, readers will engage with their sneakiest desires as they indulge in "The Escape Plan." Which is a comedic heist story following three 'ethical' thieves, Xhosa, Twi, and Igbo that answers one question: What is better than a regular museum heist? The answer is a liberal one.
"The Wrath of the Merciless," is a horror-fantasy following the last day of a summer mortuary intern, Sarabee, and her elusive introverted manager, Sidda, as he bids her a final farewell.
