An Alien Affair is the first of four books in the Amaya's Legacy series. Earth is invaded by the Baqnians from the Andromeda Galaxy. To win Earth's votes in the next Intergalactic Federation elections, the Baqnians offer medical help, economic plans, pollution solutions, and an end to war. They ensure our cooperation by using tllenium transmissions, a form of mind control. When this starts failing, they send a young Baqnian of mixed tribal and Mainstresm parentage to sort out the mess - or to be the perfect scapegoat! He enlists the reluctant help of Lee, an angry human immune to mind control. But when they realize they host mated symbionts, creatures of Baqnian legend, Zhan and Lee succumb to desire - and find themselves the target of Baqnians, humans, and a sadisitic enemy who seeks control of the Intergalactic Federation. The revelations never stop, exposing our protagonists to self doubt and violent attack. Book one has a "ahppy for now" ending when they devise a plan of action.
