The title poem of Amidst the chilling storm was inspired by my father as he was telling me stories of when he was a shepherd boy fending off the wild storms and chasing the cunning wolves as he was trying to protect his flock of sheep. The book is a collection of my earliest poems and the poem Beauty rises above the weeds is inspired by my mother who always instilled in me a nostalgic yet simple way to reflect beauty I was also inspired by Chuck Norris to write the poem win every fight as he always did win in all of his martial arts movies. And the poem Streetfighter was inspired by Jean Claude Van Damme who moves passionately glorious in every film. As always I wish the reader some happy moments reading my poetry for whom I share with all.
