Coles Ambush on the Timber Trail at Village Green Shopping Centre in Vernon, BC

The timber road between Red Creek and Granite Crossing was quiet country—too quiet.
Stagecoaches carrying payroll had begun vanishing along that lonely stretch of forest trail, and the few survivors spoke of masked riders who struck fast and disappeared into the trees before anyone could fight back.
When drifter Cal Ransom rides into the territory, he isn't looking for trouble.
But trouble finds him.
When Ransom witnesses an ambush on the timber trail, he learns the outlaws running the robberies have turned the forest into a deadly trap—and anyone who rides the road becomes a target.
Now one man stands between the killers and the next stagecoach full of innocent passengers.
And when the guns finally speak beneath the tall pines, only one rider will leave the timber trail alive.
