It's a winning combination that will captivate your child's interest and help to increase their confidence. Most of all it inspires a want to learn attitude during the process of learning to count. So sit back and relax while you enjoy this fun learning experience with your child.
Specifically, this book was created to help children learn to count and boost their reading skills in a creative interactive way. Research has shown that a child's first step in learning to count is when they make a connection between "how many objects" and the "oral language" used to count them, and it is this core standard upon which this book is based.
The book also puts into practice the skill of repetition. The repetition of seeing, hearing and saying a concept or word out loud is a fundamental learning tool that not only encourages mastery of new skills but provides a sense of security and confidence through its predictability.
And for those of you who are looking for a primary STEM book, "Amazing Numbers: A Find and Count Book" is perfect with its interdisciplinary applied approach.
This book, "Amazing Numbers: A Find and Count Book" is the first book in the "Amazing Book" series. The second book being "Amazing Animals: Fun Facts and Animal Sounds" and the third book called "Amazing Shapes: Having Fun With Geometric Shapes."
