A story of childhood wonder, hidden mysteries, and a friendship we would all love to have.
Oli has been Alfie's best friend since he was born. Now nine years old, Alfie spends one unforgettable summer holiday with him—filled with treasure hunts, secret maps, and adventures that turn ordinary places into worlds of discovery.
Together, they follow clues through woods, streams, and forgotten corners of their neighbourhood, where every path seems to lead to something just out of reach. What begins as a simple summer quickly becomes something bigger: a season of imagination, bravery, and the thrill of uncovering secrets hidden in plain sight.
This is a moving, atmospheric story about childhood adventure and the magic found in everyday places—about growing up, chasing mysteries, and holding on to the feeling that the world is always full of something waiting to be found.
And at the heart of it all is a friendship that remains unforgotten through the decades—unshaken by time, shaped by love and loss, and the kind of bond that will last for eternity.
