When God revealed the word Celebrate as a topic of focus for the year, little did Michele know it would be the same year both of her parents would slip into eternity, four months apart to the day. While sorrow threatened to crush her, and on some days, the couch was as far as she could move, the reminder that this was a year to celebrate was her motivation to find joy in the small, everyday happenings around her. I imagine we won't understand the answers to these and other difficult questions this side of heaven; however, the Lord delights to bestow great joy and peace to us as we find reasons to celebrate even in the midst of deep pain and heartache."
