A young man traveling a desolate desert highway with a mysterious ghost must confront a terrifying truth about his own forgotten identity and a past tragic event, until a rival spirit emerges to offer him a chance at salvation.
Synopsis
Sam, a young man, finds himself stranded on a desolate desert highway after his car breaks down. He is accompanied by Sofia, a mysterious and ethereal presence whose chilling power and haunting smile fill him with dread. As their journey unfolds, Sam begins to recall fragments of his forgotten past, including his relationship with Sofia and the tragic accident that changed his life.
He learns that Sofia is not merely a ghost but a vengeful spirit consumed by a love that has morphed into a terrifying obsession. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he encounters another spirit, Emma, who, unlike Sofia, seeks to protect him.
Emma reveals the truth: Sofia, driven by jealousy, murdered her and is now trying to claim Sam's soul for herself. The story culminates in a final showdown where Sam must choose between the possessive love of Sofia and the liberating truth offered by Emma. By choosing Emma, he breaks Sofia's hold, and she is defeated. The screenplay ends on a note of hope, with Sam beginning a new life with Emma, finally free from the shadows of his past.
