Originally published in the book Alligator Pie in 1974, the poem Alligator Pie is loved by children from Napanee to Kamloops. Now a new generation of young readers can enjoy this Canadian classic!
Response to Alligator Pie:
?Illustrator Nora Hilb?s tribe of tiny, rather dopey looking alligators play out Lee?s comic variations on pie, stew, and soup. Her gentle but amusing illustrations in three more of Lee?s verses?will introduce a whole new generation to Canadian nursery rhymes.? ? City Parent Magazine
