All Those Pieces is a memoir based on a speech-language pathologists experiences working with developmentally-disabled adults. In the book, the author shares the stories of a number of individuals who have been diagnosed with both developmental and mental impairments. Light is shed on the specific issues such people deal with daily. The stories are sometimes sad and tragic, making you cry, but other times enormously triumphant and inspirational, causing you to both laugh and cheer.
