Aubrey, an unapologetic transwoman, invites her readers to journey with her as she unpacks the joy, sorrow, and growth that she has experienced in her first year and a half of transition. In this collection of poems, Aubrey offers an intimate look into the hope and peace that can be found in living out one's truth in the world, but also the pain and loss that can accompany it. This book offers hope not only to those who have transitioned or are considering it but to anyone that's chosen to break from societal expectations of love, beauty, gender, and identity.
"To all the eggs,
Cracked and uncracked May you find hope in these words.
May you see through the nouns and the verbs. May you live your truth in confidence. I see you; I promise.
All My Love, Aubrey"
