You can’t plan for falling in love…
Since her unfair dismissal, ex-event manager Jessica is making ends meet by temping in an office for a boss she hates. When her university pal, Ollie, invites her to join him for a break at his family's manor house near the Cornish coast what has she got to lose?
Her stay is far from the relaxing break she imagined as the manor is a hive of activity, hosting regular village committee gatherings, two spirited Labradors and Ollie’s workaholic brother, Matt, who is paying a rare visit. She also couldn’t have anticipated getting roped in to rescue Heswell committee’s forthcoming charity ball, which is adjudged to be heading for disaster.
Can Jessica help the committee save the event from becoming an embarrassing failure and restore her career, and more, in the process?
