Agoraphobic writer Jessica Brown lives comfortably and fairly independently with the support of a few friends. But what happens when the boy who delivers her groceries leaves for college, the library book delivery for home bound patrons suffers a budget cut, her company discontinues the courier service, and she gets a tooth ache? Will Jessica internalize the challenges to the point of emotional paralysis? Or will she rise up and solve the problems? And how will her friends fit in?
