Alex is back again with his beloved Drummer in a grocery store. Oh dear! Alex realizes they are out of one of his safe foods - chocolate chip mini muffins. The disappointment, bright lights and clanging carts are too much for Alex and he crumbles in distress. Alex is autistic and does his best in a world not designed to support his needs.
Learn about food aversions, sensory sensitivities and how communities can support autistic people in our true story.
A must-have for educators, grandparents and anyone interested in a more inclusive and compassionate community.
For more inclusive stories, check out the first book in our series Alex and the Drummer- an award winning, best selling book.
