Bert’s father has just died. This would normally be a cause for celebration, but Bert has just discovered there is no afterlife. While preparing a formal complaint to God, Bert joins forces with Georgie, a young homeless man running from his destiny to have a baby: a prophecy that made a lot more sense before he transitioned. Facing an all-mighty deity with a bit of a god complex, Bert and Georgie must convince them to help build a long-overdue afterlife. If they can manage that, all that’s left will be to answer the age-old question: how can you make something that pleases everyone?
