One broken bone. One crumbling arena. The truth is the hardest shot to take.
Seventeen-year-old Caleb Carter has one ticket out of the tenements: his jump shot. For years, he’s been the backbone of the Westbrook varsity team, playing through the pain and sacrificing everything to satisfy the demands of a high-pressure basketball machine. But when a career-ending injury forces him to the sidelines, Caleb discovers that his knee isn't the only thing broken.
The Westbrook arena is a ticking time bomb of structural negligence, and the team’s success is built on a foundation of systemic fraud.
Teaming up with Maya, a brilliant strategist who sees the world in blueprints, Caleb begins to peel back the layers of a corruption scandal that reaches into the heart of city hall. As the championship approaches, Caleb must make an impossible choice: stay silent to protect the only future he’s ever known, or expose a lie that will bring the whole city—and his own identity—crashing down.
In a game rigged from the start, winning isn't about the scoreboard. It’s about survival.
The game is over. The investigation has just begun.
