Lawrence Akorli Kwaw was baptised and confirmed by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, and subsequently ordained as an evangelist by the Morris Cerullo School of Evangelism. He furthered his theological studies at the Jonathan Ekong Memorial Lutheran Seminary in Nigeria, where he was ordained as a pastor for the Lutheran Church of Ghana. In addition, he was appointed as an evangelist by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana. Furthermore, he pursued academic endeavours in music and education at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, and studied Business Administration at the Wisconsin University College, Ghana. The writer has a deep understanding of African Traditional Religion and syncretic churches in Africa.
