Share fun and friendship with Helen and Vanessa as they gallop around the spectacular Turkish countryside, enjoying the unpredictable.
Used to blue skies and sunshine, they wade through unexpected snow to buy two ponies – one lame, the other nearly dead.
Professionally busy, how will their impulsive purchases fit into their city lives? ‘Nothing to worry about,’ the multitasking imam and part-time village farmer, Kemal Hoca, reassures them as he agrees to help.
Their escapades with these scruffy beasts colour the backdrop of an entertaining and insightful view of life in Türkiye. The theme of intercultural acceptance resonates today.
