Kai is a young cat who is 7 years old, bored on a rainy, dreary day. His Nanny cat has an idea to help his boredom by showing him her time machine. Kai chooses to go back to see the dinosaurs, more specifically, the velociraptors. They adventure to the Late Cretaceous period, meet a friendly t-rex and have a tea party with a bunch of velociraptors. But when they try to leave, they realize they have no fuel because a triceratops accidentally poked a hole in the side of the time machine. With the help of the raptors, they patch the hole and create a different kind of fuel made from poop so they can finally go home.
