Mickey Mouse navigates a photocopied novel as the end of the world approaches in this gritty artist’s book In his dystopian graphic novel, Argentinian artist Adrián Villar Rojas (born 1980) weaves together his own essay on the apocalypse with a 19th-century futurist novel and scenes from the 1928 Disney film Steamboat Willie , thus demonstrating how new narratives can be worked out of preexisting material.
