The Homestead Kids follows three sisters as they explore and enjoy their East Texas family farm. Finding mystery and adventure, the three sisters discover many new things about their family's farm and how God works in their lives. Michelle loves exploring and helping take care of all the animals on the farm, but she has a special love for the many creatures in the woods. A brief talk with Mom sends Michelle on a special mission. But before she can even begin her mission, she finds herself in need of a rescue herself! With the help of her new, clever friend, Michelle learns more about her own woods and is able to begin her mission of taking good care of all the animals on her land. When a small family of animals needs more help than she can give, will she find a way to help them?
