This book deals with adaptive techniques that proposed to detect and extract the tumor regions in MRI brain images for different patient cases. As well as, many adaptive techniques were proposed to extract the brain tissues from other extra cortical tissues by a process called skull stripping. Many segmentation methods are adopted in this book to segment the MRI brain images in order to extract the tumor regions, some of these methods are adaptive ones. In addition, three dimensions image of the extracted tumor regions of many successive sliced images was constructed. Besides rendered images of two patients' head, that the MRI brain images belong to, was generated by utilizing simple functions. All the algorithms that implemented in this work are built in MatLab. The MRI brain images that adopted in this work are acquired from local hospitals in Iraq and from internet websites
