Intizar Hussain is as good a critic as he is a fiction writer and a prose writer. And his familiarity with classical society, its civilization, assumptions and conception of the universe is deep. Shamsur Rahman Farooqi says that Intizar Hussain's criticism is valuable because it is full of insights on which entire articles can be based.
