Michael Cordell is a pilot who may be good at flying planes, but his luck with women usually ends in crash and burn. After his last girlfriend, the "Andrea fault", his co-pilot gives him some advice on the kind of woman he ought to be looking for, and it isn't a swimsuit model. Baley Cordall is a struggling writer and when she lands an interview with a publisher, she's anxious to get there on a private charter. Their worlds come together when the plane Mike's flying, and the one Baley's on, has an electrical problem that causes it to crash over the plains of Montana. Three of them will survive, but only two will walk out. It's a gut wrenching adventure of survival against mother nature, bears, wolves and starvation that will leave them stronger together than apart.
