Ally is back home, and meets Mark Warren who is working on the arson case she was called home to. At first, he seemed exciting and dangerous, but the more encounters she has with him, the more she begins to fear him. When he frames Michael for the fire at the museum, Ally reaches out to Daniel who introduces her to an attorney. Together, they set up a sting to prove that Mark Warren is crooked, and hopefully, prove Michael and Lily's innocence, and free them from prison. But, Mark is smarter than they anticipated, and her liaisons with him comes to an abrupt, and violent end.
