Can romance stay above par when life throws you in the rough?
Felix:
A few months ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I became the caddy for world-famous Canadian golfer, Frederic Maillet, at the summer Atlas Games. Frederic was everything I wasn’t—confident, driven, and laser-focused. Meanwhile, I stumbled through, trying to keep up with his larger-than-life presence. But somewhere between the chaos and the competition, I caught a glimpse of the man behind that cool exterior, and I couldn’t help but fall for him.
Then, just as quickly as it all started, it was over. No goodbyes, no explanations.
Frederic disappeared without a word.
For months, there was nothing. No calls. No messages. Not even a cryptic Instagram post.
And now? Now, he’s back. Competing at the Grand Masters Golf Tour in the States. Making headlines on TV. And leaving me with questions I’m not sure I’m ready to face.
