Twenty-eight-year-old Lu Li, constantly on blind dates, faces constant rejection. A chance encounter changes his life forever. He first encounters the non-human Bai Muli, drawing him into a dream maze. He then becomes entangled with the figure of Huai Xu, who controls death, and becomes embroiled in urban legends and the crisis of the dead. The Super Spirit Bureau intervenes in the investigation, and the reincarnated Xing Tian and others unexpectedly appear. Forced to use his wits and occasionally acquired abilities, Lu Li navigates the complex web of non-humans, transcendent beings, and global crises. He must confront the challenge of a legendary ancient deceased while balancing the conflict between blind dating and saving the world. Thus begins an extraordinary adventure that began with a blind date.
