"Kedụ ka ị mere?" And the response: "ọ dị mma." Growing up this was one of the first Igbo sentences Igbo children learned. It was a simple greeting and response which brought excitement when used. But what is culture without its language? Unfortunately, many of the Igbo children didn't learn past that and the language has not been passed down consistently. But there is hope!
