Helping children learn the rewards of wisdom
Written specifically for “beginning readers,” children will find this book easy to read and understand. Numerous illustrations will keep them interested and help them relate to the subject material. The prayer and the review questions at the end provide a perfect opportunity for children to absorb what they have learned into their hearts, their minds, and their actions.
David loved God, but he almost made a tragic mistake. Offended when wicked Nabal denied his request for food and supplies, David ordered his men to be ready to take revenge. Fortunately, Nabal’s wife, Abigail, intervened.
As children read about the wisdom of Abigail’s actions, they will gain valuable insight on how to handle negative situations with difficult people.
