This is a detailed behind-the-scenes look at the limited-edition letterpress works designed, printed and bound by Gaspereau Press’s Andrew Steeves between 2017 and 2021. As well as bibliographic descriptions for 34 works, Steeves provides extensive commentary that situates the work in a technical, historical and societal context, arguing for a use of these rarefied tools and techniques that’s rooted in the everyday world.
