Have you always had an interest in Wicca or witchcraft but had no coven to join, and
didn't really know who to ask or where to start? Or, do you have some familiarity with
Wicca but practice alone, or are working to complete your own Book of Shadows? This
book is geared for the beginning Wiccan who is curious about the Craft and isn't sure
where to start learning or how to become a part of the community! It assumes some
familiarity with the art form, but no actual experience with the craft. There are lengthy
and thorough discussions on the history and basic philosophies of Wicca, the Sabbats,
crystal properties, herbalism, some basic spells, and a couple advanced practices to whet
the palate for further study.
Highlights Include:
Explanation of the Wheel of the Year and rituals to mark its various holidays
Suggestions for spellwork and altar set-up
