Recover. Fight. Freedom. Find your voice. Find your faith. Don't let the insurmountable keep you from reaching out for a better life.
Marie learned that the hard way. It took all of her pain and sorrow to say, "That's enough. I can't live like this another day."
Her family turned their back on her. Her friends turned their back on her. Marie was uneducated and unemployed. She lived at the mercy of her abusive husband. It must have taken more than average courage to choose life over death.
To fight not only for herself but for everything that she held dear. Ultimately, it was her faith that lead her to salvation and freedom.
This is the story of one woman's journey out of darkness and into the fruitful light of faith.
