Once you have lived inside the world of grief, you are never the same. Your heart beats differently, and your tears flow more often. Your love increases for your circle of people. You learn the sacredness of holding space for grief and the impact it has on you physically, spiritually, and emotionally. To ignore grief is a dangerous act. If you pretend it doesn’t exist, grief will take your mind, body, and soul to places you don’t want to go. I humbly pray that this little book will serve you in some way as you walk this path of grief or are holding hands with those who are brokenhearted. In this world, we are promised grief—but friend, take heart.
