A Waiting Rooms is a collection for anyone who's ever lingered in the quiet spaces between what was and what could be. Martha Maria Jones's poems capture the hush of in-between moments—where hope, heartbreak, and healing collide. From the corridors of memory to the shadowed corners of longing, these verses invite you to sit with your own monsters, breathe through the ache, and discover beauty in the pause.
With raw honesty and lyrical grace, Jones explores the fragile art of waiting: for love, for answers, for the courage to step out of the elevator and into the unknown. Each stanza is a gentle companion for those who feel unseen, reminding us that even in stillness, we are not alone.
If you've ever felt stuck, if you've ever wondered whether the waiting room was all there ever was, this book will meet you where you are—and help you find the strength to move forward.
