A story of grit, 1,000 kilometres from the comforts of the city. In 1980, in a village of fewer than five thousand people, a young boy began a journey marked by hunger, heavy responsibilities, and a refusal to accept charity. From topping a village school with no electricity to navigating the rigorous path of a Chartered Accountant, Ravi Khetan’s life is a testament to the fact that our circumstances do not define our destination.
Narrated with heart and sincerity by his 11-year-old daughter, A Village Boy is more than a biography. It is a moving “crossover” story for all ages, a reminder that while comfort gives us peace, it is courage that gives us purpose. “Life will always present two doors, one that leads to comfort, and one that leads to courage. The first gives peace, the second gives purpose.”
