Welcome to Berry Cross, the beautiful seaside town where businesses are created and dreams begin. This economic stronghold is the home of the prominent Hoyt family. It’s not the power of money, but the strength of family that is their true value.
Matriarch June Stafford Hoyt has arrived for her annual business meetings, which she once again maneuvers into a family gathering. The pillars of support, Henry and Elizabeth Hoyt, always maintain the importance of family first and wealth second in order to overcome any obstacles, or visits from June.
June’s grandchildren Grant, the ever shrewd businessman, Jake, the entrepreneur, and Joy, the ever busy social worker, are able to prepare for her visit, but not other misfortunes that occur.
Defined as a phoenix of tragedy, this battle tested family always seems to rise, stronger than before. However, as circumstances beyond their control strike again, are the Hoyt’s able to endure all that they may possibly lose? Will the power of family triumph again when all seems lost?
