When the past burns everything to ashes, only God's grace can write a new love story.
Lori Peterson has built her life around strict routines and quiet control, determined to keep her world calm and predictable. Trey Reeves, a gifted photographer, has an eye for capturing everyone else's picture-perfect moments but feels utterly lost when it comes to raising his troubled nephew, left in his care while his sister is deployed. When a frightening gas leak at Brown Academy throws them together, their worlds collide in a whirlwind of teenage rebellion, buried guilt, and inconvenient sparks of attraction. Across town, missionary Anna Anderson returns home unexpectedly-pregnant after an assault overseas and torn between the family who longs to adopt her baby and the man she once loved, who is determined to stand by her side. In the cozy lakeside community of Silverton, as weddings are planned, cupcakes are devoured, and beach bonfires light up the night, these wounded hearts must confront their pasts, face hard truths, and discover that God's timing-and His healing-are always greater than their fears.
