Mann has a secret. Being able to summon anything he wants, from his favourite drink to a decent pair of leather boots, is not something he wants to become common knowledge. Who knows what those seeking wealth without any effort would do to him if they discovered it?
And that’s not his only secret. He has no recollection of his past, and as time goes on, his life never ends, causing him a few other problems in his beloved inn.
But the end of the millennia and a meeting of apparent strangers in Slutet’s inn might be about to answer the questions he never even realised he had. He’s spent his long life enjoying himself and doing whatever the hell he wants, including making a name for himself with his prowess in the bedchamber. All that's about to change.
Mann has a duty only he can fulfil, and he’s failed spectacularly. But there’s always tomorrow, or, rather, yesterday, to do it all over again if he can only find what he lost.
Mann must uncover his destiny by revisiting the past. Somehow.
Featuring a hero you’ll come to love. Or hate. (It’ll be a little steamy, too).
Reviews
'Fans of time-bending fantasy, morally complex protagonists, and richly woven mysteries will find A Time of Nines a compelling and unique read. A witty, immersive, and thought-provoking fantasy that blends humor with deep existential questions. Mann is a protagonist you won’t soon forget, and neither is his journey through time.' Netgalley Reviewer
‘The plot itself is insane…crazy and bloody marvellous. I can’t quite explain it. The Nine and the None are so mysteriously baffling and I found myself really enjoying it.’
‘Brilliant book well worth a read. Brilliant book with a good ending well worth 5 stars.’
‘A Time of Nines by Lissy Porter is so so good. I couldn’t stop reading this book.’ Netgalley Reviewer
'This is a fantastic new release. It has a compelling plot and leaves you asking questions. It reminds me of reading The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue, only this time instead of no one remembering you: you remember no one. I love the cozy inn vibes and all the twists! This is definitely one you should check out :)’ Netgalley Reviewer
