This is a charming tale, of a real cat's 'tall tail' at bedtime. It is a relatable, imaginative, and evocative story for young children, especially ones afraid of the dark! Dave (the owner of the tail) has a tall tail. Everywhere - you just see the tail- up in the air 'like you just don't care'. Never straight up, always with that quizzical question mark? This crazy tail is the inspiration for the book - The furry 'question mark' that walks around my house. What could it be? This book will feed and engage the child's imagination in a positive way, to see beyond the shadows and help them understand the feelings and emotions that they may have regarding the things that lurk in a dark bedroom. Or it may just give them an appetite to discover more about nature and all the wonders of the world, as well as let their imagination conjure new ideas as to what the shadow could be. The reader and child can engage and participate throughout. The book will enable the child's early learning through repetition. Do you know a child who is inquisitive? Do you know a child who is afraid of the dark? Then settle down with this book, imagine, engage and participate throughout, and you also get to meet the 'tails' owner at the end of the tale.
