Come, hop on the scooter—let’s ride back to the summer of 2003! Join Anand and his Thatha (grandfather) on a joyful adventure to Chennai’s iconic Marina Beach. From zipping through the streets of Mylapore to the thrill of chasing waves and flying kites, this heartwarming tale celebrates the lasting joys of childhood.
Everyone has some memories of childhood that they recall from time to time. Anand is no different. Anand, being minimally speaking autistic, may not often speak much about those early years—but he remembers them vividly.
This story is based on one such cherished memory, brought to life with gentle narration and evocative illustrations. It’s for Anand—and for everyone who delights in revisiting magical moments from childhood.
