Son's point of view: "When I went to my first sleepover, dinner tasted weird and the bed felt strange. I felt bad you had to come pick me up late at night. I guess I wasn't as ready for this as you thought I was."
Father's point of view: "When you went to your first sleepover, you got scared and wanted to come home early. My favourite part was hugging you when I picked you up. Maybe I wasn't ready for this yet."
"A Story About a Father & Son" is a picture book told in a way that allows readers to experience the milestones of growing up from two different perspectives, those of father and son. A reminder that love, though sometimes misunderstood between parents and children, remains constant throughout all stages of life. An emotional and enjoyable ride, perfect for new parents, birthdays, baby showers, or any family celebration all year round.
