Sometimes the light that guides you home is the same light that teaches you how to hope again. When travel writer Eve Harper is stranded by a winter storm in the small mountain town of Holly Ridge, she expects nothing more than a delayed assignment and a quiet place to wait out the snow. Instead, she finds a close-knit community bound by tradition and a widower named Luke Brennan, still carrying the weight of a loss he's never fully laid down. Each Christmas Eve, a handcrafted star is raised high on the ridge above town, a beacon of hope and remembrance. But this year, the tradition is at risk, and so is Luke's fragile hold on moving forward after grief. As Eve captures the quiet moments that make Holly Ridge special, she and Luke begin to discover that healing doesn't arrive all at once. It comes in small steps. Gentle courage. And the steady reminder that God is still at work, even in the broken places. A Star for Christmas Eve is a tender small-town romance about faith after loss, second chances, and the light that shines when we choose to hope again.
