From Under the Influence to Under the Authority of God offers a Christian perspective on mental health, emphasizing the importance of identifying and addressing the underlying roots of spiritual and emotional struggles. The book explores how negative influences—such as trauma, cultural pressures, and past experiences—can distort one's relationship with God and lead to mental health challenges.
The author guides readers in recognizing these harmful influences and encourages a shift from living under their control to living under God's authority. Through biblical teachings and practical advice, the book emphasizes spiritual practices like prayer, scripture study, and community involvement as key to mental and spiritual well-being. The central message is about finding true freedom and peace by uprooting negative influences and aligning one's life with God's will.
