This book is written and compiled for the group leader without formal bereavement experience. It will help someone who is willing, has empathy, and hears the call to support those suffering loss and change. The goal of the facilitator manual and its companion workbook is to provide information and structure to group leaders so they can successfully offer grief education and a safe place in which mourners heal from loss. Here, the participants recognize the insights they gain from having loved and lost. Then, they pass these gifts of empathy, understanding, and hope to all they touch.
