A Soul's House stands out among the myriad of recent books on spiritual formation by delving deep into the "why" behind spiritual growth. Dr. J.K. Jones, who has been guiding college and seminary students for decades, leads readers to recognize the continual need for renovating their souls. Whether you are new to your walk with Christ or have been on the journey for years, A Soul's House helps you understand that spiritual formation goes beyond a mere checklist of activities to complete. Instead, it is a lifelong transformational journey, empowered by God's grace and pursued for His glory, as beautifully explained in this book. Dr. Teresa Welch Roberts, Professor of Ministry and Christian Formation, Ozark Christian College
Dr. J.K. Jones is the former Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Eastview Christian Church, Normal, Illinois and the former director of the MA in Spiritual Formation at Lincoln Christian University. He currently teaches part-time in the graduate studies program at Ozark Christian College, while continuing to travel, teaching and preaching as opportunities arise. He has spent the past 46 years with one foot in the church and one foot in the classroom. He is a pastor's pastor. J.K. lives in Bloomington, Illinois with his beloved wife, Sue. They have raised two daughters and are blessed with two beautiful grandchildren.
