A Small Pile of Bones is an intricate web, spun from mistaken identities and long-buried, life-changing secrets. Romance and discreet passion, scandal, love, and loyalty entrap the painful past that ultimately evolves into tearful reunions and heartwarming joy. Were all seven of Claire and Andy Van Buren's Rh factor infantsburied at Hillside Cemetery? Did Victoria's uncle, Dr. Robert Wheeler, save any of them? His recently opened notes-part of a file that was entrusted with his attorney until his death-lead a band of self-appointed and professional detectives to the truth. A long the way, the sound of a backhoe, slamming the hard ground of the cemetery, make the grave robbers' stomachs churn. What they find, a dying nurse's delivery of an old rusty metal box, her confession--all contribute to secrets revealed, identities untangled, and hearts reunited.
